Hever Jara is an electronic music artist born and raised in Medellín, Colombia. An empiricist by nature, he made his debut in 2009 as a producer, signing his first official release with a record label, and as a DJ, making his live debut at a public event that same year. Since then, he has been continuously working, learning, and refining his sound, eventually gaining global recognition. Over the years, he has signed with prestigious labels such as Nervous Records, Glasgow Underground, Cartel Recordings, Tiger Records, Adesso Music, PPmusic, HoTL Records, WhichBottle?, SwitchLab, and Wired, among others.
His music has been supported by renowned artists such as David Guetta, John Summit, MAZ (BR), Roger Sanchez, David Tort, Steve Lawler, EDX, DJ Chus, Rony Seikaly, Peter Gelderblom, Gregor Salto, Kryder, Agent Greg, and Hard Rock Sofa, to name a few.
Throughout his career, he has performed at countless events, stages, and clubs, sharing the stage with elite names such as Chris Lake, Harry Romero, Abel Ramos, David Tort, Dennis Cruz, Cuartero, Amémé, and Hector Couto, among others. He has also played internationally in Greece, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Panama, and Peru.
In 2021, he won Best House DJ/Producer in Colombia at the Culture Dance Awards, supported by several Beatport Top 100s and standout tracks such as Maria Lionza (Cartel Recordings), Cameo (SwitchLab), Flow Animal (Vandals Recordings), Shades (Latin Dutch Records), and Musica Remix (Habitat).
The global electronic music scene is constantly evolving, and Hever has consistently demonstrated his ability to adapt his sound in both his productions and performances. His versatility allows him to explore different styles while maintaining his signature essence and distinctive sound. He is the founder and owner of Latin Dutch Records and is also part of the BH Records artist roster.
